I created this site during my semester as a representative on the Graduate Student – Faculty Liason Committee (GSFLC) at UW-Madison. The group was largely responsible for fostering the community spirit of the department through various social events, but it also facilitated the dispensation of travel grants to students seeking to present their research at scientific conferences. Again, this site was built using Drupal. It’s clear, concise, and I think it effective communicates the goals and work of the GSFLC. It would be better if we had photos from our events to show on the site, but no one knew if photos even existed of the events much less who had a copy. The site today looks the same as when I created it in 2010, so go check it out if you’re curious: GSFLC
